Is the pond safe for fish and aquatic plants?
Yes. Every Edensteel pond is lined with a seamless polyurea coating — an industrial-grade, inert, watertight barrier between the steel and the water. The lining is fish-safe and fully suitable for aquatic planting once the pond has been filled and settled.
How long does it take for the Corten patina to develop?
The amber-rust patina begins forming within weeks of outdoor exposure and typically settles into its characteristic colour over the first one to two seasons. During this weathering period, some surface run-off may occur — we recommend placing the pond on or near gravel, stone, or a surface where temporary staining is not a concern, or protecting adjacent surfaces until the patina stabilises.
Is it supplied assembled?
Yes. Every Edensteel pond is delivered fully assembled, lined, and ready to fill. Please note - prices shown do not include water blades or pumps - these are available price on request.
How is it delivered?
Ponds 2 metres and under will be delivered via pallet network or tail-lift vehicle to your kerbside, free of charge on all UK orders.
All Corten steel ponds over 2 metres in length will require offloading on site. If you do not have offloading for ponds larger than 2 metres, please let us know and we can quote for Moffat/crane delivery.
Can I order a bespoke size pond?

How long is the warranty?
All Edensteel Corten steel products carry an 8-year structural warranty. If anything structural fails within that period, we will put it right.
