Edensteel 8-Year Structural Warranty (UK Only.)
Our 8-Year Structural Warranty (Extended)
- UK ONLY
- EDENSTEEL MADE PRODUCTS ONLY
Every Edensteel piece is built from commercial-grade materials and designed for long-term outdoor use. Because we stand by our workmanship and the quality of our materials, we offer an 8-year structural warranty.
This warranty covers the parts of your product that are intended to remain strong, stable and safe when used as designed. If a structural component fails due to a manufacturing defect within this period, we will repair or replace the affected part.
What’s Covered
Our extended 8-year warranty covers the steel products we manufacture:
• Structural integrity of the steel
• Manufacturing defects affecting strength or stability
• Welds, joints, and the main framework when used as intended
If the issue relates to the way the product was made, we will put it right.
What’s Not Covered
To keep this warranty fair and workable, it does not cover:
• Incorrect installation, misuse, or unsuitable placement
• Accidental damage, impact, fire damage unrelated to normal product use*, or extreme weather events
• Alterations or modifications after purchase
• Surface changes, ageing, or cosmetic appearance
• Corrosion or issues arising from improper use or exposure
This warranty is for structural faults only.
We cannot cover damage caused by user action, incorrect handling, or environmental conditions outside normal expectations.
*For products designed for use with fire or heat (such as the Chiminea or fire pits), normal heat exposure is expected and not considered accidental damage.
IMPORTANT: The pumps we supply with our steel ponds are NOT covered by this 8 year warranty. They are covered by a 3 year manufacturers guarantee.
Corten Steel: What to Expect
Many Edensteel products are made from Corten steel, a weathering steel that naturally forms a protective patina outdoors.
It is normal and expected that:
• The patina will form gradually, starting light orange and deepening over time
• Colour variations, drip marks, and uneven tones will appear during weathering
• Early runoff may temporarily stain porous surfaces beneath the item
• Patina development varies by climate, drainage, and placement
These characteristics are natural properties of Corten steel and are not considered defects or structural faults.
Classic/Mild Steel: What to Expect
Mild or classic steel is a low-carbon steel known for its strength, versatility, and ease of fabrication. It’s used widely in construction, fabrication, and general engineering because it’s easy to cut, weld, and shape.
However, mild steel has little to no corrosion resistance. When exposed to moisture and oxygen, it rusts quickly unless it’s painted, powder-coated, or galvanized. For indoor use or sheltered environments, mild steel performs well - but outdoors, it requires regular maintenance to prevent corrosion and maintain appearance.
These characteristics are natural properties of mild or classic steel and are not considered defects or structural faults.
