Natural Weathering

As the steel naturally weathers, it develops a unique orange-brown patina that gives each screen its own unique character. During the initial weathering process, some surface rust run-off is normal and may stain adjacent paving or surfaces. This is most noticeable during the first few months while the protective patina forms. Once the weathering process stabilises, rust run-off reduces significantly.
